What you'll be building

Day to day, you'll:

• Design, build, and ship scalable features across Deputy's workforce management platform - from scheduling and time tracking to compliance and HR onboarding

• Take real ownership of your work, from architecture decisions through to production, with the autonomy to shape how things get done

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to solve meaningful problems for managers and hourly workers alike

• Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence - code reviews, technical mentoring, and raising the bar for the whole team

• Bring a curious, experimental mindset to technical challenges - whether that's demand forecasting, real-time scheduling, or labour law compliance at scale

• Get stuck into company-wide hackathons, including our annual DEI week, where engineers build features that directly improve workplaces
