At Deputy, we're building software that genuinely improves how hourly workers are managed and scheduled. As our Sales Development Representative, you'll be the first conversation businesses have with us, and you'll help connect companies with tools that transform their operations.
What You'll Do
Prospect with purpose. You'll identify inbound leads and source outbound prospects where Deputy creates real value. This isn't spray-and-pray territory. You'll qualify opportunities against clear criteria, understanding which businesses are ready to move forward.
Reach out, reach through, reach people. Using phone, email, and LinkedIn, you'll run high-volume outreach that actually sounds human. You'll craft messages that spark curiosity and open doors, not ones that land in spam.
Book qualified conversations. Your core metric is simple: discovery calls and demos scheduled with Account Executives. You're not closing deals. You're qualifying leads and handing warm, well-researched opportunities to the team that will close them.
Own your pipeline. You'll track activity and maintain accurate data in our CRM, giving the team full visibility into what's moving and what isn't.
Who You Are
You're energized by phone calls and email outreach. You ask thoughtful questions to understand if Deputy fits. You're organized enough to manage high volume without losing quality. You're collaborative, hitting the ground running with Brad Jenkins' Sales team and your fellow SDRs.
You don't need 10 years of sales experience. You need curiosity about businesses, persistence that doesn't feel pushy, and genuine interest in helping companies find better tools for their people.
